Senior Associate Partner
As a Senior Associate Partner at PLP, Adam has had the opportunity to develop facade solutions across various sectors, such as mixed-use, high-rise, commercial, and residential. He was a core design member for some of the firm’s most prominent built projects and hold a proficient understanding of the building envelope. With a proven track record in preserving design intent and architectural integrity through delivery, his experience encompasses all stages of design and construction. Stemming from an academic background in design research, Adam finds passion in his work at all its scales, from producing authentic conceptual ideas to implementing and installing industry’s latest innovations.
His recent works include design development, technical coordination, and documentation of CCF and Single Skin Facades systems for Yandex Headquarters. The new 170,000m2 campus is set to complete Shell & Core by the end of 2023 and will be a striking yet sensitive addition to the city’s skyline.
Adam’s experience with state-of-the-art facades also includes 22 Bishopsgate in London, the tallest skyscraper worldwide that features a sustainable Closed Cavity Facade (CCF). His responsibilities included the architectural detail development and technical coordination of the building’s A-typical closed cavity facades, upper story active facades, double height viewing galleries, and the external envelope of the rooftop terrace.
He was also involved in prominent residential schemes, such as Lincoln Square (Carey Street). Other residential work includes Whitechapel Estate in London, a residential-led mixed use development with planning consent and Park Nova in Singapore, a luxury 21 storey residential tower currently under construction.
Prior to joining PLP, Adam was part of the design team at KPF responsible for the master planning and early design stage work of the Victoria Circle/Victoria Transport Interchange schemes. He returned to the project in 2012 with PLP and was a key member of the design team, developing the facade design of the revised Nova Victoria scheme. During his time at KPF London, he worked on a number of key projects in the Middle East, including the Abu Dhabi International Airport Midfield Terminal Complex, the proposed business district for a city masterplan, and the design strategy for the Zayed Stadium Competition.
Adam received his Master degree in Architecture from the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London in 2006 and his Bachelor of Architecture from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, USA in 2004. He is an associate member of the American Institute of Architects AIA and a member of the AIA UK Chapter, the Architectural Association School of Architecture, London and the Tau Sigma Delta Honors Society in Architecture at California State Polytechnic University.
