Erdjan Eker, ARB

Senior Associate Partner

Erdjan is a Senior Associate Partner at PLP Architecture with more than 15 years of experience across the historic, residential, hotel, office and commercial sectors. Erdjan is currently working on ONE Bishopsgate Plaza for the Singaporean investment and development property company UOL Group adjacent to Heron Tower. This new mixed-use development includes a luxury hotel, residential and retail in a combination of new and refurbished buildings, a 43-storey tower together with a new public square on Bishopsgate and a sequence of new public spaces and routes.

Previously, Erdjan worked on three new commercial buildings at Nova Victoria, for Land Securities and Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, which will regenerate the island site to the north of Victoria Station and will contribute to Transport for London’s improvements to Victoria Underground Station as part of its upgrade of the transport interchange. Office, retail and residential space and extensive public realm will reconnect the former island site to its surroundings and create a destination within this part of the West End.

Prior to working at PLP, Erdjan worked at RHWL Architects, Garbe Real Estate, Houston Morris Architects, Caroe & Partners and Harper Downie Design on projects including Heathrow Terminal 3, the refurbishment of Gatwick Airport, the IQ Tower in Doha Qatar, the 100 million pound Axel Springer building in Berlin, the British Museum’s Duvine gallery extension, the conversion of listed property in South Kensington & Fitzroy square, and the conservation of the White Tower at the Tower of London. Erdjan received his Part I, Part II and Part III qualifications from Southbank University in London. He is a registered architect in the UK, and speaks English and Turkish fluently and is currently learning Spanish.
