An exceptional opportunity for a distinguished architect with Italian expertise to work in our London office.

PLP invites applications from accomplished and innovative architects with a profound appreciation for Italian architectural tradition. We seek a highly qualified Italian Architect to join our esteemed team in London. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to unique and sophisticated projects, characterised by Italian design excellence, within a collaborative and professional environment.

Skills:

  • Previous experience working in a UK architectural practice
  • Previous experience with projects in Italy or with Italian clients.
  • Familiarity with Italian planning and building regulations.
  • Capacity to manage projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong 2D and 3D skills including, Rhino and Revit.
  • Deep understanding of technical coordination between architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines to ensure fully integrated project documentation.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee architectural projects inspired by the principles of Italian design, from conception through to completion.
  • Advanced proficiency in architectural design software to be able to produce comprehensive drawings, plans, and technical specifications utilising industry-standard software (such as Revit and Rhino, etc.).
  • Collaborate effectively with clients, engineers, and contractors to deliver exemplary architectural outcomes.
  • Previous experience in technical coordination with external consultants is essential
  • Ensure that all designs are compliant with local planning regulations and building codes.
  • Provide creative input and technical expertise across a variety of commercial, and public sector projects.
  • Attend site visits and participate in project meetings as required

Essential Qualifications:

  • Degree in Architecture or a closely related discipline.
  • Fluency in both Italian and English, written and spoken.
  • Proven expertise in Autodesk Revit, with the ability to lead complex BIM model development and maintain accuracy across project phases.
  • A robust portfolio demonstrating experience with Italian architectural styles and projects.
  • Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a creative approach to resolving challenges.
