PLP invites applications from accomplished and innovative architects with a profound appreciation for Italian architectural tradition. We seek a highly qualified Italian Architect to join our esteemed team in London. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to unique and sophisticated projects, characterised by Italian design excellence, within a collaborative and professional environment.

Skills:

Previous experience working in a UK architectural practice
Previous experience with projects in Italy or with Italian clients.
Familiarity with Italian planning and building regulations.
Capacity to manage projects and deadlines effectively.
Strong 2D and 3D skills including, Rhino and Revit.
Deep understanding of technical coordination between architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines to ensure fully integrated project documentation.

Primary Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee architectural projects inspired by the principles of Italian design, from conception through to completion.
Advanced proficiency in architectural design software to be able to produce comprehensive drawings, plans, and technical specifications utilising industry-standard software (such as Revit and Rhino, etc.).
Collaborate effectively with clients, engineers, and contractors to deliver exemplary architectural outcomes.
Previous experience in technical coordination with external consultants is essential
Ensure that all designs are compliant with local planning regulations and building codes.
Provide creative input and technical expertise across a variety of commercial, and public sector projects.
Attend site visits and participate in project meetings as required

Essential Qualifications:

Degree in Architecture or a closely related discipline.
Fluency in both Italian and English, written and spoken.
Proven expertise in Autodesk Revit, with the ability to lead complex BIM model development and maintain accuracy across project phases.
A robust portfolio demonstrating experience with Italian architectural styles and projects.
Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Meticulous attention to detail and a creative approach to resolving challenges.
