Mubina Fattoum

Senior Associate Partner

Mubina is a Senior Associate Partner at PLP Architecture. Her experience spans a range of sectors including offices and residential buildings within the City of London and City of Westminster, often taking projects through from design stage through to practical completion.

Mubina is currently working on Curzon Street, a new super-luxury residential building in the Mayfair conservation area of London. She is responsible for the coordination of the façade with a particular focus on the stonework, the design of which lives up to the traditional architectural context of the area, whilst also enhancing bespoke features via collaboration with specialist craftsmen.

Previously Mubina was a key design team member of the construction of a new headquarters for a major broadcasting company in West London from Stage 3 through to completion, where she was package lead for the design and delivery of 2 specialist areas of the build, namely a contemporary yet luxurious 200 seating cinema and a 25m swimming pool and changing facilities. The project reflects the client’s aspiration to provide an entertaining and inspirational hub, and an inclusive yet creative environment that blends production and office space within defined neighbourhoods.

Prior to joining PLP, Mubina has worked for multiple architectural practices in London where she specialised in interior fitouts, workspace design and refurbishments. During this time she also continued to peruse her own personal interests and research in parametric architectural design and responsive sculptural and spatial installations.

Mubina completed her RIBA Part I and Part II from the University of East London, and studied a specialised Masters of Architecture in Computing and Design at the same university.
