PLP Labs’s Mycelium Sculptures Featured at Chelsea Flower Show’s Pathway Garden
May 20, 2025
This week at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, our innovative mycelium blocks, developed in collaboration with Modular, featured at the heart of the Pathway Garden.
Grown entirely from recycled material salvaged from last year’s show, these sculptural forms represent themes of renewal, support, and natural connection. Designed as part of a tranquil garden space, the organic mycelium walls reflect the ethos of Pathway UK, a charity supporting people experiencing homelessness.
Just as recovery often relies on unseen networks of care, these living structures symbolise how communities can nurture healing and resilience. In the Pathway Garden, the mycelium elements stand as living metaphors for transformation, showing how sustainable design can give new life to discarded materials while inspiring hope and reflection.
We’re honoured to contribute to a project that unites social impact with environmental innovation.
