Our new headquarters building for Clivedale Ventures at 73 Brook Street replaces a 1970s red granite property with a new structure sympathetic in its expression to its setting within the Georgian terrace and the Mayfair Conservation Area. The site, on a prominent route to the new Crossrail Bond Street Station from Grosvenor Square, forms part of an entry sequence into Mayfair.

To enhance and complement the architectural context and character of Brook Street, the principal façade reinstates the vertical grain of the neighbouring buildings by splitting the site into two distinct elevations that preserve the boundaries of the original historic plots. The two resultant volumes step down in height from the taller building at the corner with Grosvenor Square.

The façade is hand set in Portland Stone offset against glazed terracotta window linings. The uppermost floors are clad in buff colour sandstone and the roof in variegated metal shingles. The core is positioned to the rear east portion of the site, allowing for flexible open-plan floors that optimise space to support a modern office environment. Below ground, dedicated amenity facilities accommodate cyclists and other active commuters.
