Andrew Tsang, RIBA
Andrew is a Director and architect with a wide range of skills covering design, construction detail, and project coordination and administration across a range of office, residential, transport and master planning projects.
Andrew is responsible for leading a team on the design and integration of the intricate multi-storey basement and substructure which extends beneath the mixed-use development at Nova, Victoria. This allows the new office and residential buildings, restaurants and cafés, community facilities and public realm to bridge over the vast infrastructure below ground, and enables the majority of the phased development to take place at the same time as the Victoria Station Upgrade and the infrastructure improvements for Crossrail 2. Andrew coordinates the extensive and complex basement works with the client, statutory authorities, consultants, contractors and sub-contractors, and has liaised with the client’s legal advisors to prepare documentation that will support the future management of the buildings.
This follows Andrew’s role on Victoria Transport Interchange VTI 2, while at KPF London, where he was responsible for the co-ordination of the master plan with London Underground. Andrew has also been involved in the design of the Four Seasons Abu Dhabi at Al Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi.
At KPF London, he was also a team member on the Covent Garden mixed-use master plan and the Abu Dhabi International Airport Midfield Terminal Complex.
Andrew received his Postgraduate Diploma (Distinction) in Architecture at the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London, his Bachelor of Science in Architectural Study (Part I) and Bachelor of Architecture (Part II) from the Welsh School of Architecture, Cardiff University in Wales.
