Andrew Tsang, RIBA
Director
Andrew is a Director and architect with a wide range of skills covering project management, design, construction detail, and general project coordination and administration across a range of commercial, residential, transport and master planning projects.
Andrew was responsible for leading a team on the design and integration of the intricate multi-storey basement and substructure which extends beneath the mixed-use development at Nova, Victoria. This allows the new office and residential buildings, restaurants and cafés, community facilities and public realm to bridge over the vast infrastructure below ground, and enables the majority of the phased development to take place at the same time as the Victoria Station Upgrade and the infrastructure improvements for Crossrail 2.
In the Middle East, Andrew has been involved in the design of the Four Seasons Abu Dhabi at Al Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi from competition stage through to the construction documentation stage. Andrew was also the Project Director responsible for Project Avenue in Muscat, Oman, a mixed-use development of hotel, offices, residences and retail.
More recently in London, Andrew was the Project Director on One Bishopsgate Plaza responsible for leading a team on the design and construction of a 42-storey mixed-use luxury residential and hotel tower in the heart of the City of London where his involvement primarily focused on the direct engagement with the client and statutory authorities to successfully deliver the complex project brief requirements.
During his time at KPF, he was also a team member on the Abu Dhabi International Airport Midfield Terminal Complex, Covent Garden mixed-use master plan, Riverside 66 in Tianjin China, and 55 Water Street in New York.
Currently, Andrew is the Project Director responsible for leading a number of different projects in the UK and abroad, including the day-to-day management of the design team on the Yandex Headquarters our competition-winning design for the global tech leader, which will house 12,000 employees in an iconic campus providing a host of amenities beyond just world-class workspace.
Andrew received his Postgraduate Diploma (Distinction) in Architecture at the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London, his Bachelor of Science in Architectural Study (Part I) and Bachelor of Architecture (Part II) from the Welsh School of Architecture, Cardiff University in Wales.
Andrew is a RIBA Chartered member and an ARB registered architect.
