Our global footprint expanded, with the completion of nine new buildings, whilst construction has continued on many more around the world. On top of this, we moved into our new offices in Singapore, further cementing our commitment to working in the country and the wider region.

In London, our Bankside Yards masterplan has been moving forwards with the completion of Arbor and the confirmation that Mandarin Oriental will occupy the neighbourhood’s 5-star hotel. 65 Davies Street was successfully fully pre-let, showcasing the continued demand for top-quality workspace in London. As well as this, the UK capital has gained two more leading residential developments in the form of Park Modern and 60 Curzon, which both truly exemplify Luxury London living. A remarkable milestone was the unveiling of Horizon 22, London’s highest viewpoint, which is completely free to the public and offers stunning panoramas of the city.

Overseas, Tower Ten in Amsterdam’s World Trade Centre opened its doors to tenants, and our purpose-built AI Lab in Shanghai welcomed its inaugural visitors. Also in China, Shenzhen now boasts a new landmark tower.

Amongst all this, we stayed true to our dedication to push for more sustainable, healthy and social cities. We actively participated in initiatives such as helping to facilitate the establishment of a global forestry body (ISFC). Through PLP Labs we delved even deeper into advancements in sustainable construction technology, inventing mycelium building blocks and developing flexible timber partitions with the University of Cambridge. These works were exhibited around London in Clerkenwell Design Week, London Design Biennale, London Design Festival and we also had a virtual pavilion at the world’s first Metaverse Architecture Biennale.

As 2023 comes to a close, we look optimistically forward to 2024 and all the exciting collaborations, discoveries and achievements that will come with it.
