HaenSuk Yi, RIBA

Director

Haensuk is a registered architect with experience in commercial, residential, retail and master planning projects in the UK, Europe, and Asia. His in-depth specializations in parametric modelling and visual communication have proved invaluable on a number of high-profile projects.

Most recently, HaenSuk has been involved in the design and coordination of new headquarters for Yandex in Moscow, Russia. The project is currently under construction and is scheduled to open in Q3 2023.

HaenSuk has worked in many of PLP’s most renowned projects including Corso Como Place in Milan, Sky Central in London, the headquarter building for Mwani, the Qatar Port Management Company and the control tower of Hamad Port, a consented design for a mixed used high rise redevelopment Friars Bridge Court in London, the largest micro-housing the Collective Old Oak in London, a large scale masterplan including residential and office buildings Sampson House and Ludgate House next to Tate modern in London, a masterplan to redevelop the former Westferry Printworks in London, N+ Master plan in China, Yuyao International City of Culture and Arts masterplan in China, a proposal for a stadium and associated masterplan for FIFA 2022 World Cup in Qatar and a concept design for a new passenger terminal for an international airport in Saudi Arabia.

HaenSuk has also tutored in workshops for digital graphic design and parametric design at the Architectural Association School of Architecture and the University of Westminster.

HaenSuk completed his RIBA Part III Professional Practice qualification at the University of Westminster having previously graduated from the Architectural Association in London
