Arbor, in the new Bankside Yards cultural neighbourhood, has been named as the London Commercial Development of the Year in the CoStar Impact Awards 2024.

The award recognises ‘the most impactful commercial real estate projects … that are shaping the future of the industry and the communities in which they serve.’ Arbor in particular was flagged for the quality of its architecture and placemaking, as well as its significant sustainability credentials.

The Impact Award win is underscored by a series of high-profile lettings, notably including The Carbon Trust who were attracted by the building’s emphasis on sustainable design. Arbor is the UK’s first fossil fuel-free major mixed-use development in operation. It is fully electric and solely supplied by renewable sources, which will power a pioneering fifth-generation energy sharing network.
