Rob, a Partner at PLP Architecture, is the studio’s technical lead and go-to person for construction expertise. He brings over 35 years of experience leading architectural projects across a diverse range of sectors in the UK and internationally.

Through his deep understanding of the technical aspects of design, in particular of facades and structures, Rob brings a high level of innovation to each of PLP’s projects. This approach is what enables the studio to create some of the most technologically advanced, sustainable and resilient buildings in the world.

He has contributed to key buildings in London’s skyline, including 22 Bishopsgate and One Bishopsgate Plaza. Rob has also led the façade designs for buildings such as The Imperial College Thinkspace Translation & Innovation Hub and The Francis Crick Institute, Europe’s largest biomedical building. Outside of the UK, Rob designed the tower façade of the Four Seasons Abu Dhabi, one of the most environmentally advanced hotels in the Gulf.

These days Rob splits his time between specific project work and technical mentoring and reviewing projects generally in the office.
