Paul Tupper The recently opened One Bishopsgate Plaza marks the completion of a mixed-use masterplan that originated with the adjacent Heron Tower to the south. The masterplan envisioned a new City of London, moving away from the mono-culture of the office towards a rich aggregate of different uses that brings together hospitality, residential, amenity spaces, new types of retail as well as innovative public realm and place making.
PLP Labs, the research and innovation arm of PLP Architecture, is working in collaboration with leading metaverse property platform VerseProp to launch a range of 5000 NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens). The tokens will not only give buyers the owning rights to a unique digital artwork but also access to exclusive content embedded into the tokens, from webinar tickets and physical artwork through to the chance to work with PLP to design their own building in the Metaverse.
Shenzhen is one of the most important city of Pearl River Detla Metropolis. Luohu District is one of the three Shenzhen Centres. The project is located at East Gateway of Shennan Avenue, which is in the heart of Shennan East Business Centre. The north side of the site is higher as mountain and south east is lower as river and green park.
PLP Architecture is part of an international team that has won a major competition to realise Parco Romana, an urban-scale redevelopment project in Milan’s Porta Romana district. The project interprets the industrial legacy of the site while reanimating it with contemporary programs centred on an ethos of sustainability.
PLP has unveiled a masterplan and architectural design for a large complex at the heart of a metropolitan centre in the Pearl River Delta. Located at a very prominent junction within the central business district, the project comprises four buildings: the Nexus Building – a 600m office and hotel tower; the Platform for Contemporary Arts – a performing arts complex; the LZ Park Tower – a 300m office tower; and the Concourse – a large scale retail and leisure facility.
