425 Oxford Street, London, UK

This project includes the high-profile renovation and adaptation of a key historic building along Oxford Street in Central London. The design completely rethinks the 1930s building’s presence within Europe’s busiest shopping district, greatly expanding its retail space to make it more economically viable and ensuring consistency within its commercially-orientated setting. The T-shaped building sits confidently across from the iconic Selfridges & Co department store, providing an unparalleled visual retail presence that an international brand has capitalised on for their new global flagship store.

Designing for Neurodiversity – Creating enabling office environments

PLP Labs and Centric Lab published research for the British Council for Offices titled “Designing for Neurodiversity”. The report examines the impacts that physical spaces have on their users, finding that certain spaces can be disabling because of their poor design and lack of consideration for the diverse needs of users. The report encourages workplace design to address unemployment and burnout among neurodiverse workers.

60 Curzon, London, UK

Located in the historic Mayfair Conservation Area, 60 Curzon is one of London’s finest new residential buildings. The building’s façade, with its verticality and elegant curves, is detailed with intricate stonework, bespoke terracotta tiling and bronze accents. Behind this crafted exterior lies a complex and finely tuned machine for living, that embraces the history and culture of its surroundings.

Kaleidoscope TikTok UK Headquarters, London, UK

This dynamic new office building in the City of London has recently been completed on a high-profile site next to Smithfield Market. The colourful structure will become Tiktok’s new UK Headquarters and includes 5,500sqm of modern and efficient office space with a WiredScore Platinum rating and outstanding views out over the surrounding historic neighbourhood.

Chiltern Place, London, UK

PLP Architecture recently completed a new 15-storey residential building that includes 55 luxury apartments, retail facilities and a new townhouse along Chiltern Street in the heart of Marylebone Village in London. It replaces an outdated 1960s tower and offers significant visual and operational improvements for the sensitive site, which is located next to the intimate green spaces of Paddington Street Gardens.

22 Bishopsgate, London, UK

22 Bishopsgate, designed by PLP Architecture for AXA IM – Real Assets and Lipton Rogers Developments, is the tallest tower at the heart of the City of London’s financial district. Shaped to respect townscape views, its twenty-three-sided, faceted glass form makes a strong and serene backdrop to the surrounding articulated towers and to the historic fabric of the Bank of England Conservation Area.

30 Minories, London, UK

30 Minories is a wellness-led office development by PLP Architecture, for our client Patrizia. The design incorporates two buildings located in the City of London; the first a retained Victorian former warehouse that will benefit the local community and provide affordable workspace, the second a new office building that prioritises high quality office space designed to meet new occupier requirements for amenities, wellness, external greening and terraces as well as extensive improvements to the public realm. Our design focuses on creating a contextual building that promotes connectivity and wellbeing, with ample access to fresh air, daylight, and biophilia through generous planted balconies and terraces.

65 Davies Street, London, UK

Our office building, 65 Davies Street, sits in a prime location a moment’s walk from London’s Oxford Street within Mayfair’s rich cultural heritage and directly above the new Elizabeth Line Bond Street Station. When complete in 2023, the building will be one of London’s most technically advanced and best-connected workplaces.

One Embassy Gardens, London, UK

Embassy Gardens is a new riverside district in London developed around the new United States Embassy on Nine Elms. The area is witnessing significant regeneration which will create a new mixed-use central London neighbourhood replacing the warehouses that previously occupied the area. The Embassy Gardens masterplan is governed by design principles conceived to create an urban environment that orchestrates the relationship between architecture, landscape and public space to create desirable living spaces.

Qatar Airways London Headquarters, London, UK

This project will provide a new bespoke headquarters for Qatar Airways, and as part of their brand recognition strategy, will advocate the importance of the client’s retail presence at No. 10 and 11 Conduit Street in Westminster.
